Digital Preview

The digital preview shows you how your book will look when printed. Review it carefully before approving.

When Is the Digital Preview Available?

The digital preview becomes available after both your cover and interior files have been approved.

How to Download the Digital Preview

Go to the Print Files tab of your book. Click the "Download Preview" button. The preview will download as a PDF file.

What to Check

Review the following in your digital preview:

• Cover artwork appears correctly with proper bleed
• Spine text is centered and readable
• Back cover content is positioned correctly
• ISBN barcode on the back cover matches the ISBN on the copyright page (if your book has an ISBN)
• Interior pages are in the correct order
• Text and images are not cut off at the edges
• Fonts display correctly

Approving the Digital Preview

If everything looks correct, click the "Approve Preview" button on the Print Files tab. This confirms that you have reviewed the preview and are ready to proceed. Approving the preview allows your book to be ordered (physical proof copy or bulk copies).

What Gets Locked After Approval

After you approve the digital preview, the following are locked and cannot be changed:

• Trim size
• Paper type
• Binding type
• Interior color
• Laminate finish
• Page count

If you need to change these settings after approval, you will need to upload new files and go through the review process again.
